Strawberries Fresh From the Garden

I am just so tickled about our strawberry bed. Our bed is 8 feet x 4 feet of red delicious fruit. At the peak of the season in May, Grady picked 100 strawberries every other day. I chop them slightly and add sugar, then put it all in a quart freezer bag. They are still producing a few everyday. Instead of freezing them I just eat them fresh out of the garden at their freshest. A great brunch dish is fresh strawberries, sour cream, and brown sugar. Dip the strawberries in the sour cream, then in the brown sugar. Very good!! Happy Gardening!! Nancy Smith
