When we first started our garden all we had was some real bad Arizona soil and compost. We mixed it all together and started our raised bed garden. Between each planting, we add another bag of compost. We started our garden 3 years ago and today we have wonderful rich soil that grows 95% of our vegetables. Right now we are enjoying romaine lettuce and carrots and peas.
